Your Support Builds Our Capacity: A Message from Mark and Sarah

Zoe ConnerUncategorized

As November draws to a close, we take a breath to reflect. We are so grateful to walk this path with you. Grandparents, community partners, new alum, “old” alum, parents, friends, trustees, staff, teachers, and students, you are our fabric, our “network of mutuality,” our raison d’etre. In the building, we elevate student voices; we make space for each student to find and express his/her/their best self. Each person shapes our shore.

Our 2022-23 Annual Fund Fall Appeal is drawing to a successful close (see the report later in this edition). It was driven by a matching grant based on participation. As well as the incredibly generous financial gifts, there are so many ways you all participate to shape Crossroads. Thank you!

The success of this campaign and future ones ensure our capacity to offer this beautiful, intentionally diverse academic community to every student who would thrive here. In pursuit of accessibility, we are using new language to discuss our cost. When someone asks “What is the tuition at Crossroads?” our reply is “We individualize tuition based on a family’s capacity.” While this has always been true, we have found many people did not know that it could be affordable for them. We hope this semantic adjustment will open our doors to more students.

Our admissions season is up and running. Please take a moment to connect someone you know with Crossroads. Your word-of-mouth testimony is our best advertising.
