Varsity Volleyball Senior Night

We love our seniors! At school on Wednesday, we PINKED and POPPED OUT for our seniors on the Varsity Volleyball team: Adreana, Brooklyn, Lizzie, Sarah, Sydney, and Valeria. They chose a Pink Out in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the whole school showed up in their brightest pink attire. The rest of the Varsity Volleyball team set up the gym with streamers and balloons in Crossroads colors with help from the Junior Varsity Volleyball team and Bob Beatrice, Athletic Director. At 4:15, the Varsity team played in our home gym against Valley Park.

After the game, Bob spoke beautifully about each senior, their growth over their years at Crossroads, importance to the team, and bright, resilient personalities and leadership styles. It was a warm and wonderful evening: Bob, seniors, and families alike all got emotional reflecting on these incredible seniors’ final season playing Varsity Volleyball for the Crossroads Current. We’re looking forward to many more celebrations of these seniors and the rest of their class because we are so grateful to have them in our community. We are loving watching them learn, grow, and prepare for their paths after graduation. But for now, they’re still playing on the Current courts. Congratulations, girls!
