Crossroads has had the incredible honor and opportunity to participate in Thinksgiving, a one day only event hosted by Filament that pairs St. Louis nonprofits with teams from smart companies for an intensive day of creative problem solving and design thinking.
We were incredibly lucky to be paired with the team “IdeATE this Feast” from Maritz, a passionate group of incredibly smart and fun professionals! So many thanks to our teammates from Maritz: Rachel McInnis, Lacie Scheidt, Carol Ivcich, Adam Richter, and Amber Bailey. We can’t wait to see what else comes from this incredible partnership!
We also had the special treat of seeing our awesome alum and Board member LaKecia Veal (’08) in her element as Filament Senior Project Manager and Thinksgiving Head of Logistics. All in all, it was an fantastic day of creativity, design thinking, and community building – we are all stronger when we work together.

On November 2, 2023, Business Partners and Nonprofits pair on Thinksgiving Day for a full day of strategic thinking and creative problem solving followed by a party where everyone’s work is shared and celebrated. The goal is a day of collaboration with a lifetime of impact.
