Joe Guzon ’24 and Esmé Schuman ’26 recently performed on the Fabulous Fox Theatre stage to a packed house. They represented Crossroads in a group of students from St. Louis and surrounding counties at St. Louis Musical Theater Awards night. What an incredible experience!
Joe and Esmé were chosen to represent Crossroads because of their long term, multi-faceted dedication to Theater at Crossroads and beyond. Theater at Crossroads is unique because students have creative control over nearly every aspect of the show. Guided by instructor and director Lizi Watt, both a performer and educator, students study the historical context of each show to make design and production choices. Students work with experts to craft sets, costumes, props, and lighting themselves. Both Joe and Esmé have performed many important roles on and offstage: their dedication to theater has inspired many of their fellow Crossroadians and other peers. Congratulations, you talented pair!
