Crossroads recently kicked off Spirit Week, a fun-filled celebration of school spirit, camaraderie, and creativity! Each day was packed with exciting activities, games, and themed dress-up days, bringing together students and faculty for a week of memorable moments.
Monday: Meme Day
The week began with Meme Day, where students showcased their favorite memes through their outfits. Laughter echoed through the hallways as everyone enjoyed this lighthearted start to Spirit Week. The day included a spirited kickball game, with KC and Naomi leading their teams in friendly competition.
Tuesday: Pink Out
On Tuesday, the Crossroads community went all out for Pink Out Day! Students donned their best pink attire to show support for the volleyball team as they took on their rivals in a home game. The energy in the gym was electric, with Deijah, Sydney, and Morghan shining on the court. In addition to the game, school pictures were taken throughout the morning, capturing the spirit of the day. The evening featured a Middle School Fun Night, where younger students enjoyed games and activities from 6 to 8:30 PM.
Wednesday: White Lies
Wednesday brought a twist with White Lies Day, prompting students to creatively interpret their outfits based on fun white lies. The day included open gym time, allowing students to unwind and play together. Additionally, a bake sale was held, thanks to the Crossroads Family Organization (CFO), featuring delicious treats for sale (cash only) to fuel the spirit!
Thursday: Dress as Your Favorite Character
On Thursday, students transformed into their favorite characters for the day! From superheroes to beloved book characters, the creativity was in full swing. The day also featured a thrilling game of Capture the Flag, led by KC and Alyssa, where students showcased their teamwork and strategy. School pictures continued in the morning, capturing the wonderful character costumes.
Friday: PJ Day
The week wrapped up with a cozy Pajama Day, where students traded in their regular attire for their favorite PJs. The day was packed with fun activities, including dodgeball games led by Kamori and Lennox. During House time, students had the chance to meet the team, fostering community spirit and connection. The evening culminated in a movie night featuring Annie, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy a classic film together from 6:45 to 9:00 PM.
Saturday: Homecoming Prep and Dance
The weekend continued with preparations for the highly anticipated Homecoming Dance. Students came together to set up the venue, transforming it into a festive space for the evening’s celebration. The Homecoming Dance, held from 8:00 to 10:30 PM, was the perfect way to conclude a week filled with school spirit, laughter, and community bonding.
