February kicked off with Crossroads hosting its first-ever special Visit Day for incoming sixth graders, marking a milestone in our expansion to include a middle school experience. Students and families toured the building, met teachers, and participated in a mini-classroom experience designed to showcase our unique city-based, student-centered model.
We’ve been intentionally planning this new addition for months, and seeing the excitement and curiosity on young faces—exploring the learning hub, chatting with current students, and discovering what Crossroads is all about—was the most rewarding part of our preparation.
This Visit Day not only introduced families to our community, but also allowed current students to serve as ambassadors—building leadership skills and helping frame Crossroads as a welcoming, collaborative space.
As we gear up to welcome our inaugural sixth graders in Fall 2025, this event marked an important step in cultivating continuity, connection, and community across all grades.
