On Tuesday we hosted 30 undergraduate students from S.L.U. to observe classes and engage in a Q and A with Jason and Sarah PW about teaching, the field of education, and Crossroads. One student sent the following reflection:
“… During my visit, I was most struck by the atmosphere of respect and genuine joy for learning among both students and teachers. Crossroads makes each of its students feel valued and accepted, thus providing them with an environment conducive to academic excellence and character development. I aspire to teach gifted elementary school students in an urban setting, so visiting Crossroads was both enlightening and encouraging. You and your colleagues are doing wonderful work in the field of education. Thank you so much for the opportunity to observe at Crossroads.” — Anna
