Senior Legacy Benefit Concert II

adminUncategorized

The Crossroads Senior Legacy Benefit Concert ll, scheduled for the 23rd of May, 2015 at The Blueberry Hill Duck Room in the Loop continues the senior tradition of giving back to a school responsible for the artistic growth of a community of performers. As a sophomore, I was involved and performed in the original event organized by then-seniors Micah Garrido and Justin Enoch at Plush. The concept was simple: To assemble and showcase the musical talent of Crossroads’ Seniors and to raise funds for a gift for the school. The show drew an audience of over 150 and raised significant funds. This show promises to be even bigger and better than the original.

The Senior Legacy Benefit Concert ll has a concentrated goal — raising funds to provide scholarships for future Crossroads Seniors. In addition to talented musicians, we will also be highlighting the senior visual artists at Crossroads with a display, and there will be a raffle for contributed works. With the concentrated effort of our fellow classmates, this event will allow us to provide hope and resources for those who will follow in our footsteps. Crossroads has taught us the way to pursue our passions and dreams and this event will pay it forward.
