Hello Crossroads community,
The new school year is underway; what a blessing and a privilege to be together once again in person. We have had almost 20 students join Crossroads since June and are continuing to book tours. Last week, the Middle School was away for three days of activities, and the Upper School was away for one. We believe that in building these connections, in getting to know one another, we are best poised to achieve our primary pillar of college preparation. It is also pure fun.
Today, the tennis team is on the courts at Dwight Davis, our soccer team is running on the Central Fields in Forest Park, our volleyball team is practicing in our gym, and the theater is awaking for another run of productions. The classrooms are filling up with new ideas and the promise of all that a full year of learning will bring.
Our staff is 100% vaccinated and our student body is 80% vaccinated and climbing! Although it is not fun, our students understand the need for masking and distancing. We are pleased to report a healthy start to the year.
We hope that we will see you sometime soon at Crossroads, the place where all our life stories intersect.
