Friends,
Next year our rising 8th grade class will divide into three sections (instead of our traditional two) for their core classes in Literature, Math, Science, and Social Studies. This is exciting news for us as our middle school is growing, and our students will meet in smaller classes throughout their day. Our enrollment is strong enough for us to implement this change and move forward with some exciting innovations. There is an admission implication for this improvement as well for the 2017-2018 school year (Who thinks that far ahead? We do!): we are anticipating fewer seats for this same class as they join our upper school. We believe our middle school will continue to grow and our upper school will reap the benefits of having a robust middle school program filling it. To this end, we are continuing to recruit new middle school students.
We would love to have five more students join our rising 8th grade, and we also have a few seats open in our rising 7th grade class. We say it time and again: Word of mouth is the best way to promote and fill our school. We would like to ask for your help in three ways:
- Conversation! Talk with your neighbors and colleagues about Crossroads College Preparatory School and why it has been a great fit for your family;
- Yard Signs! We will be distributing yard signs next week. Please volunteer to place a sign in your yard for the next two weeks;
- Movies! Beginning on May 1, we are placing an ad in Galleria Cinema’s slideshow. We would love to have families go to the movies and check out our full screen logo. Send us a selfie!
Our enrollment this year is strong and as we say goodbye to our amazing seniors, we feel the anticipation of welcoming many new students into our halls. As always thank you for your help in these efforts!
