Homecoming was a BLAST! With a theme of celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip hop (with our own 50th right around the corner), the gym was decked out in musical nostalgia, and the playlist was bumping!
It was magical to watch students having such fun and including each other in a myriad of ways, whether it be in a group dance or outdoor frisbee game. Everyone brought such great attitudes, even the security guards commented on how polite our students were. The fan favorite songs that got EVERYONE on the dance floor were No Hands, Wobble, and Cupid Shuffle. The Homecoming Court was announced at the end of the night: freshmen Zarah Vaughn & Kori Johnson, sophomores Lennox Turner & Jay Oliver, juniors Miles Woodbury & Jack Zigler, and senior Homecoming Queen Kaitlyn Crump.
Special thanks to our faculty members who helped set up and chaperone, Crossroads Student Council for hosting, and the 10th Graders for staying late to clean up!
