Our Chess Team finished in 6th place overall out of 30 teams at the Missouri Scholastic Championships. Freshman Nasser Williams and Junior Janne Ochs medaled on boards 3 and 4, respectively, leading the team to a 10.5/16 record. This was quite an accomplishment for such a young team! They journeyed to Nationals in Baltimore, put up a strong showing, finishing just barely out of trophy range, and made sure to sightsee while they were there, including a paddleboat (mis)adventure
