Crossroads College Prep had an excellent State Tournament. Our 9th grade and under team
finished in 2nd place overall, 3 points behind St. Joseph Academy and just ahead of Rockhurst High School. Ernie McCarter and Russell Bigham finished 6th and 10th overall, and Sarah Crawford medalled for her 4-2 record. The strong team was rounded out by Emanuel Gerbi, Joey Blank, and Doug Koller.

Parker Lake played in the 8th grade and under section, attaining his best tournament record ever. Our high school team placed just ahead of Ladue and just behind Vianney in the standings.

Matthew Larson led the team on board one, finishing in third place overall with three wins and a draw. LaVaughn Caradine and David Dong each earned medals on board four. Our hard-fighting team also included Solomon Cooper, Andrew Kowalkowski, Katie Stujenske, Homer Dula, Nyla Long, and Jonathan Lake.

Congratulations to everyone, and much thanks to Michael Bartley, Ed Dromgoole, Jodi Granok, and Lauren Plummer for all their help during the championships.
