The Wednesday Notice: 5/25/18

adminUncategorized

Dear Friends,

Sunday afternoon, we celebrated the 36th graduating class of Crossroads College Preparatory School. As I told them during the ceremony, I believe that the class of 2018 will represent our mission and their experiences at Crossroads well in the communities they join after graduation.

I believe in their effort, their excellence, and their willingness to engage with others and with learning, justice, and equity. I believe that the college and university communities, the professional networks, peers groups, cities, towns, and families they join will be different and better as a result of this.

I went on to share with the audience what I imagine for each member of the Class of 2018  by name, how I see their unique combination of strengths serving them and those around them. I hope you’ll take a moment to read these imaginings, and reflect on the impact each and every member of the Class of 2018 has made on our school.

Please join me in congratulating the Class of 2018, their families, their teachers, and everyone else who has supported them in their time at Crossroads.

As I said on Sunday, our graduates demonstrate that they can go anywhere from here. So to the Class of 2018: please keep in touch! We can’t wait to hear what’s next.

With great expectations,
