Crossroads College Prep Student Council is sponsoring our annual canned food drive to help hungry people in St. Louis as Thanksgiving approaches. The canned food drive ends Friday, November 14th. Participation in past years has been outstanding – let’s make that happen again!
This is a competition among classes. Points are added up and divided by the number of students in that grade to make it fair for all. The most generous grade overall will choose a charitable organization to which to make a cash donation from Student Council funds, and…inscribe their class year on the Pyramid of Golden Cans (woot!).
Guidelines on points:
1 points = dry noodle dishes (such as ramen)
2 points = small cans of food (11 ounces or less)
3 points = medium cans of food (12-16 ounces)
4 points = large cans of food (17 ounces or more)
3 points = miscellaneous
15 points = 15-count package of diapers
Locations for collection by grade level:
7th – Hugh, recording studio
8th – Lori, Room 18
9th – Cliff, Room 3
10th – Joe, Room 10
11th – Becky, Room 15
12th – Elaine’s office
