Congratulations to the cast and crew of Ride the Cyclone! This unforgettable production brought together students, alumni, parents, faculty, and local experts to create a thrilling and deeply collaborative performance. Ride the Cyclone is known for its quirky and emotional storytelling, and our talented performers captured its essence with precision and passion.
Students have been working on this show since last year, with Ride the Cyclone first recommended in Winter 5th Day Exhibition 2023 by a student producer. The student, August ’25, thought Ride the Cyclone‘s dark humor would be perfect for the Crossroads Theater Ensemble, a group who loves genre and gender bending. Students learned more than they expected about roller coasters, fortune teller booths, and high school chamber choirs than they ever expected. Thank you to our local expert music coordinator and set designers for sharing their skills with our students. Thank you to our talented students onstage and off, who provided everything from spotlights, musical accompaniment, and projections.
