Dear Crossroads College Prep School Community:
It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you of my decision to accept the Director of Admission position at The Wilson School, beginning July 1, 2015. After almost a decade at Crossroads College Prep, you can imagine what a difficult decision this was for me. It is with sadness that I leave behind so many wonderful people I have met through my work at Crossroads, but it is with excitement that I embark on a new adventure, one that allows me to work more closely with my children at the school they attend.
When I started my work at Crossroads nine years ago, I was single and had no children. The Crossroads school community has been my family, and I have appreciated the network of mutuality that allowed me to grow personally and professionally. My hope is to bring what I have learned and to grow with another independent school.
I believe in what Crossroads offers young people and will miss the daily interactions with students, parents, and colleagues, all of whom contribute to the strong sense of community that I will miss most of all. I look forward to hearing about your children and what the future holds for them.
I am excited for what is to come for Crossroads. I have the utmost respect and admiration for Jason and his charisma, energy, and leadership style and know that these qualities will help Crossroads reach its full potential.
I will always stay connected to Crossroads and the relationships that began for me here. I hold a special place in my heart for you, for the school, and will remember my time at Crossroads with fondness and gratitude.
Warm Regards,
Maggie Baisch
