Letter from Martha

adminUncategorized

Dear Crossroads College Prep families,

I value highly the relationships we’ve developed over the past six years, so this is a difficult letter for me to write. In the fall I will join the science faculty at John Burroughs, where my son is an 8th grader. The timing is good since I decided in October that I would return to full-time teaching next year rather than apply for a new administrative role here. My son and I can be together there as part of the same community and yet have some space from each other. For my relationship with my son, that’s a perfect arrangement. That does not make it easy, however, to leave the Crossroads community.

It has been and continues to be a privilege to work with Crossroads students, supporting their development as students and as people. I’m really going to enjoy spending the rest of spring semester with your children. Crossroads is a truly special place and I wish the school a bright future. If you know me, then you know that I will miss these kids very much!

Sincerely,
Martha Keeley
