The halls of Crossroads College Prep came alive during the final 5th Day Exhibition of the school year as students shared projects that reflected months of creativity, research, and collaboration. Families, alumni, and community members explored classrooms transformed into galleries, theaters, restaurants, and interactive learning spaces.
Projects spanned a wide variety of disciplines. Visitors experienced an Upcycle Fashion Show, sampled homemade gooey butter cake created through a course exploring the history of St. Louis food, enjoyed original music and films, tested student-designed video games, and visited a black box theater converted into a fully student-run dining experience.
Unlike many schools where presentations happen only occasionally, every Crossroads student presents multiple times each year through the school’s signature 5th Day program. Regular public presentations help students develop confidence, strengthen communication skills, and learn to explain complex ideas to authentic audiences.
The exhibition also welcomed many alumni back to campus, reinforcing the lifelong connections that define the Crossroads community. Events like the 5th Day Exhibition demonstrate how experiential learning prepares students to think critically, communicate effectively, and take ownership of their education.
