For the last seven years, Crossroads has held our Book Fair at Left Bank Books in the Central West End. We especially appreciate the partnership because Left Bank and it’s leadership are committed to social justice — not to mention it’s an excellent independent bookstore with knowledgeable booksellers.
How it works:
1) Crossroads receives a percentage of sales all evening on Friday (4-10pm) and all day on Saturday (10am-10pm) when you mention that you are there to support the school. This includes all merchandise and gift certificates.
2) You can purchase books for Crossroads from our school wish list. Select a volume and inscribe a personalized book plate.
3) From 4-7pm on Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturday, parent-volunteers will staff a Crossroads booth. We’re planning Friday evening musical entertainment, hot cider, and a raffle for Crossroads gear.
The Book Fair provides a vital supplement to the library budget, allowing us to augment the school’s collection, especially in fiction. Come for community, leave with great books, and support the Crossroads library!
Again, just mention Crossroads on Friday evening or Saturday at Left Bank, and the school receives a percentage of the sale.
