13th Annual Turducken

This year’s Turducken was certainly something to squawk about! It was our lucky number 13th Turducken, and the first Turducken we sat in our mixed grade level, faculty, and staff Houses.

Turducken is a potluck feast at Crossroads for students, faculty, and staff named after the iconic dish “Turducken” – a chicken inside of a duck inside of a turkey!

Each student brought a lovingly prepared dish: 7th graders brought drinks, 8th graders appetizers, freshmen and sophomores sides, juniors salad and veggies, and seniors handled desserts. Celeste and Gretchen filled the entire conference room with TURKEY COOKERS!

We sat by House in the gym, where the tables were beautifully decorated by House color.

After our Feast, we enjoyed an incredible talent show, highlights including a group of senior girls bringing the house down with “Love” by Keyshia Cole, junior boys singing a rousing rendition of “Let it Go” from Frozen, an all school dance party, and so much more!

Thank you so much to all the faculty and staff who worked so hard to make this event possible. We loved the warm, joyful Crossroadian energy, and we are headed into Thanksgiving Break feeling incredibly grateful for our entire school community.
