Extraordinary Times Require an Extraordinary School
Come to the school where you can just be yourself!
Activities and facilities encourage self-expression, including a MakerSpace and a recording studio, and excellent theatre and arts programs. Our no-cut athletics program gives everyone the chance to excel. Each Crossroads studentâs unique daily schedule provides the flexibility to explore activities from chess and robotics to knitting and printmaking, and the resources to dive deep into areas of interest. We believe each person, each contribution, and each voice at Crossroads has value and enables an authentic, just, and enriching academic experience. As you learn more about Crossroads, we hope you see yourself adding to our dynamic and supportive school community.
How we approach the dual pandemics of COVID-19 and systemic racism
While the dual pandemics of COVID-19 and systemic racism have shaped our region in unprecedented ways, Crossroads remains committed to a safe, supportive, exceptional learning community. We invite you to explore how in these times smaller is better. We intend to remain open to our school community as long as it is safe to do so. Learn more about our COVID-19 plans.
Since our founding in 1974, the Crossroads school community strives to live by our mission and primary tenet, to honor each otherâs humanity and to treat one another with dignity. We work to develop our awareness of racism and systems of oppression, and we also work to analyze the ways we either perpetuate or disrupt the messages we receive about race. Our understanding of how we came to be living in systems that favor some while oppressing others is essential to this, and essential to understanding the ways in which COVID-19 impacts everyday St. Louisans.
