Dear Crossroads College Preparatory School Community,
We are so proud of our boys’ soccer team, and I am looking forward to traveling to Kansas City on Friday to watch them play in the Class 1 Missouri State final four! Winning the state soccer quarterfinal was a part of an exciting weekend for Crossroads as was our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Getting swept up in the excitement is part of the joy of being at Crossroads.
There are, of course, other matters to attend to and other issues on my mind and the minds of others in our community. On Monday, I sent a letter to parents, students, faculty, and staff regarding our campus safety. Although I do not anticipate having to cancel or adjust our schedule anytime soon, as a result of weather or otherwise, you can click here for sources of information about any schedule changes.
I am pleased that we are able to celebrate and support one another during this time of success and excitement, and I believe our relationships, our empathy, and our good listening are all strengthened by this energy – and because of this strength, we will navigate the challenges we will face as a school and city better together.
With great expectations,
