Girls Volleyball Camp

June 5-9, 2017
June 12-16, 2017

Volleyball Camp is for students currently 10-15 years old. The focus of this camp is to emphasize the fundamentals of the overall volleyball program at Crossroads and to provide a bridge to higher levels of play. We will work on all aspects of the game, including but not limited to, serving, passing, swinging, defensive rotations, digging, and on-court communication. We have a limited number of spaces available. Last year we were at our maximum number. If you are interested, please register as soon as possible. Note – Every player needs comfortable shorts and t-shirt, knee pads and proper shoes

STEM Camp
June 19-23, 2017

STEM Camp for 6th to 9th graders. Spend a week this summer learning about solar energy, robotics, and rates of change.  Activities will include monitoring solar panels and building a solar oven, programming Lego robots, and working with rates of change in real life applications.  Also learn about careers in engineering, neuroscience, and other STEM fields.

STEM Camp (9:00am-4:00pm) – $250

Optional Daily Lunch (for entire week) – $25

Chess and Art Camps
June 26-30, 2017

Chess

Learn how to play chess for the first time, brush up on basic strategies, or master some new techniques. Students will be instructed by Howard Granok, coach of the state and nationally ranked Crossroads College Prep Chess Team. Open to students entering grades 1-12.

Art

Campers will be introduced to a variety of 2D and 3D media such as drawing, painting, bookmaking, assemblage, and sculpture, and will learn about art while having a lot of hands-on fun. Students will be instructed by Christa Gearhart Denney, chair of the Crossroads College Prep Fine Arts Department. Open to students entering grades 2-12.

Chess and Art Camp – ALL DAY (8:30 am – 4 pm) – $250

Art Camp – Mornings Only (8:30am-12:30pm) – $150

Chess Camp – Afternoons Only (1:00pm-4:00pm) – $150

Optional Daily Lunch (for entire week) – $25
